Cytron 30Amp 5V-30V DC Motor Driver

The Cytron 30Amp DC Motor Driver (MD30C) is a high-performance upgrade to the MD30B, engineered for powering medium to high power brushed DC motors. This Cytron DC motor driver 30A handles a continuous current of 30A and can peak up to 80A, making it ideal for demanding applications.

Operating across a voltage range of 5V to 30V, it qualifies as a versatile 30A motor driver 5V to 30V solution. The fully NMOS-based architecture ensures higher efficiency and faster switching speeds without requiring additional cooling systems like fans or heatsinks.

As a Cytron single channel motor driver, it offers built-in features such as reverse polarity protection and an onboard PWM generator, enabling operation even without a microcontroller.

Users can control motor direction and speed via onboard or external switches and potentiometers, making it a flexible and user-friendly choice for your next robotics or automation project.

Features:

• Reverse polarity protection.

• Logic level inputs are 3.3V and 5V.

• For increased efficiency, a fully NMOS H-Bridge is used, with no heat sink required.

• Speed control PWM frequency up to 20KHz.

• Standalone operation is enabled by an onboard PWM generator with switches and a potentiometer.

• External PWM operation now supports both locked-antiphase and sign-magnitude modes.
