The NovalithIC™ family includes the BTS7960B, which integrates one p-channel high-side MOSFET and one n-channel low-side MOSFET along with a driver IC in a single package. The p-channel high-side switch eliminates the need for a charge pump, helping reduce EMI and simplifying the overall design.

The integrated driver IC simplifies interfacing with microcontrollers by offering logic-level inputs, diagnostic feedback with current sensing, slew rate adjustment, dead time generation, and protection features such as overtemperature, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection.
